The inability of Atlantis to handle tables is certainly disappointing. I work all the time with documents containing tables, which means that if I use Atlantis to word-process the text, I have to switch to a different program to deal with the tables.

Thanks for this, but I thought I had made it clear that I already implemented the changes I wanted in the Normal template, then imported the relevant styles into the `old' document I was working on. The main style elements were intact (font, paragraph, etc) but not the hot keys. This is in Vista ...

This suggested solution doesn't work on my system. I set the default tab at 0.6cm in the Normal template, but the next time I opened the program to work on a document, the default had reverted to 1.27cm.

Hot keys not saved

I opened the Normal template, assigned hot keys to various heading levels in the Styles dialog, and saved the template. But the next time I opened the program and imported the Normal styles to the document I wanted to work on, the hot-key assignments had all been wiped out. What's going on here ...
