If what you want is as shown in this screenshot, it's known as Drop Caps, and I don't think Atlantis offers this feature.

I also get the same error when I click on the print preview button. It's worse though because Atlantis stops responding completely. Can only end the program by pressing ctrl-alt-del. I'm running W2K, and can confirm both errors, when changing margins and when attempting to use Print Preview. The ...

Doug, it sounds like you might find it helpful to use sections. The Help file in Atlantis provides a good explanation of how to use sections to control formatting on a section-by-section basis, and you can add the "insert new section" commaands to the dropdown menus, if you wish. I've done this to ...

Finally, on the issue of PDF, the very real advantage to using a PDF driver is that it is not app.-specific. Install a PDF driver, and you will be able to print any file to PDF, not merely Atlantis files. And, of course, printing to PDF is then just a matter of selecting the appropriate driver. Hi ...

as always max this is only your opinion Of course. That is so obviously true that I felt no need to state it explicitly. However, and this is not an opinion, there is such a thing as bloatware. Saying " I want Atlantis to do [insert feature here]" is an honest statement of opinion. Saying "Atlantis ...

creating pdf-files
This is a feature that few mid-level wordprocessors offer. Major suites like WordPerfect and OpenOffice do, but for Atlantis, solutions like PDFCreator or PDF995 are better optionsguest wrote: atlantis should be able to create reliable pdf-files

Atlantis is the best word processor I know. However it has some flaws... it cannot read straoffice format and it is availbable only for windows. i need using it omn mac and unix too so i am switching to OpenOffice Writer :? From one OpenOffice user to another - don't try to use OOo's RTF import ...

I am sorry to ask for a little more when you have done so much, but I would like the Favorites link as found under File, to be on the toolbar list. If it's just not possible it's still very good to have the current option. Thanks again. Shan UK Can it be mapped to a hotkey combo? If so, you may ...

Max. I for one never send or open attachments. It would be nice to have the option. It may not be a problem for you but t it certainly is for me..... So, what do you do if someone needs to send you a PDF? That must be attached, since it is a separate file? What about an XLS file, or any other sort ...

Well, I will respond to say that I disagree totally. I completely fail to understand why this such a big deal. If I click on "Send by email", Atlantis fires up my email program, attaches the doc, and it's ready to go. Where's the problem? Why is it so important to have the contents of an Atlantis ...

Re: Page - Column Breaks
Hi Shan! The next minor version of Atlantis is soon to be out. As a matter of fact, it is already available for betatesting from http://www.rssol.com/en/html/atl10_beta/main.htm With this new version, you will be able to change or remove already assigned hot keys, or create new hot keys. You might ...
