not much can be suggested regarding version 4.4.1.2 since it never backs up the configuration file.

On Sept 9 2024, in response to the loss of autocorrect entries, you wrote "Version 4.4.1.2 with a fix will be available later today." And it worked.

I didn't update anything, still running 4.4.1.2, yet my Autocorrect entries disappeared.

It happened before, in 2024 -- there is a string of messages on the forum about this.

The only way I found is to use a 1x1 table. It would help is the table had a Wrapping Style Layout option, and possibly more shapes than a mere rectangle, or perhaps a round corners ...

Curious to experiment with the text inside a picture tip, I downloaded the example file "Text inside pictures.docx". But when displayed in AWP, text is around the picture, not inside, even though Wrap points are correctly located and the wrapping style is Through. I'm using version 4.3.10.3.

The idea is not to toggle bookmark delimiters display but to have them on at all times, so we can see where bookmarks are in the text without being encumbered with special symbols and marks.

The Bookmarks navigator panel is great, and so is the status bar right-click, but you have to click ...

A Show Bookmarks option (as in Word) without having to switch to Special Symbols mode.

I never run more than 1 AWP instance.

Something must have gone wrong yesterday because today, after renanming the .ini file, and starting AWP again, autocorrect entries were loaded from registry.

Why so many entries? I write in French on a US keyboard and ...

My AutoCorrect entries are continuously evolving while I'm using AWP. I should then back up the .ini file (or save the AutoCorrect file) each time I'm done with a session. This is not convenient, but if it's the way to save the accrued corrections I'll do it.

I need to recuperate autocorrect entries that are in the registry, since it contains newer ones I don't have in my backup.

Can you please suggest the best way to do that. Should I downgrade to an earlier AWP version which still loads setting from registry? Or is there a simpler way?

Autocorrect entries are still in the registry indeed (I hadn't checked that earlier), but they don't get loaded after renaming .ini and starting AWP.

I do have a backup, which I can load, but I added a number of entries since it was made, and I was hoping to recover those as well.

I was told to rename the .ini file, and start again. That worked because entries were read from registry (I have close to 10K entries in French).

I think equipping each section with a proper heading would be a better solution.

That's what I started to do, but you need another heading after the section in order to collapse it, otherwise it's not delimited.

Another thing I'm doing is setting the section font to 1, which almost collapses it.

It would be nice to be able to collapse a Section (Headings collapsing is great but one needs a heading at the top and another at the bottom).

This could also be accomplished with a Hide Text option, once the whole Section is selected.
