Linked Pictures
Is it possible to insert pictures, but not integrate them in the document?: Task: *Picture in same Directory (-> relative link) *Picture in Internet - update when online and document is opening. second task: Atlants is already able to import Pictures from Web by inserting the http-adress into ...

no Unicode-support
Unfortunately Atlantis doesn't support Unicode, how will you write Russian without Unicode? The makers of Atlantis insist on using the ANSI-code as the "only Standard".

I'm shure the popularity of Atlantis will increase clearly if footnotes/endnotes added. It is exactly this feature which students (like me) or authors are missing most. Footnotes are essential to write dissertations or for any other "homework". The result of an comparison between several common used ...

I would suggest to seperate these two features (supercompact: pictures / text). I want to be shure that the Text-section is displayed correctly on any program! So I'm forced to deactivate this function (file only a few bytes smaller. When I put images into the document I've to activate it again. For ...

Save all settings?
How can I save all user-Settings?
i.e where are the *Hotkeys* stored? I've seen, that Style-hotkeys are stored within the documents itself, but where are the global hk stored?
Further:
I missed a dialog for saving "Sound-schemes" settings!

I left Outlook Express because of security lacks and after testing most of the alternative E-Mail programs (Pegasus, GeMail, PostMe, FoxMail, Eudora, PocoMail, TheBat, Thunderbird, M2(Opera), AK-Mail, Phoenix) I choosed FoxMail 5.0. Now FoxMail is my Standard-Mail-Client, but unfortunately I noticed ...

RTF-Format -Probs with Textmaker (supercompact RTF)
Textmaker is also installed on my machine and I tried to open Atlantis documents. Word hadn't any problem with it, but Textmaker lost paragraphs and had a really big problem with columns... Atlantis reads TM-Formats well, but it doesn't work the other way round. By the way, if the document is saved ...

German spellcheck enhancement?
Hi! I've used Atlantis now for a couple of weeks and I must say it's really good work an fine software. I'm from Austria and so I use Atlantis for writing german texts. I couldn't believe that the german spellcheck could work at all in view of the file size. First I was surprised at the high ...

Now I also changed the paper size in the printer driver-dialog manually to C6 (Width=114mm, Height=162mm). and... it does make a difference :-). With this adjustment it works fine! By the way I compared the envelope printing of Atlantis with the one of Word. It's a bit annoying in Word that there ...

I've tested "envelope printing" in Atlantis 1.5.1.4. and had problems with it... (have WinXP and Minolta Laser 1100L) Envelope format: C6; I inserted an envelope in the designated paper feeder. Nothing. Then I tried a normal A4-paper. Then I realized that the adresses were printed, but only at the ...

I found a way to write in Esperanto with Atlantis: There is a small Russian program named Ek! Yes, I already used it before, but it didn't work. Now I've tuned some settings (agordu-> instalo-> balta-> estona) and Ek! sends Latin-3 signals to Atlantis. With this adjustment it works fine and Atlantis ...

Unicode - Support?
Without any doubt this is the smoothest wordprocessing-program I've ever used! I enjoyed the pleasant user-interface and the great amount of useful features like the backup-function. It was a long search to find a powerful, but non-bloated (and therefore quick) wordprocessor. Just write and don't ...
