Save all settings?

Post by mandrael »

:?: How can I save all user-Settings?
i.e where are the *Hotkeys* stored? I've seen, that Style-hotkeys are stored within the documents itself, but where are the global hk stored?
Further:
I missed a dialog for saving "Sound-schemes" settings!

All your (global) settings are automatically saved by Atlantis when you close it. Normally Atlantis saves most its settings to the Windows Registry.

You need no dialog for saving settings. They are saved automatically when you close Atlantis, then reloaded when you launch Atlantis again.

If you want to save your settings in case of a need to backup/restore your computer, look in Program Files > Atlantis:
Atlantis.asd
Atlantis.ats
Atlantis.ini

By default there is no Atlantis.ini file in the home folder of Atlantis. It has to be created through the “Tools | Options > Save Settings to Ini File” command. If you want to load the settings from such an INI file to your Atlantis on a new PC, close Atlantis, then choose “Start | Run”, and type the following command-line:

"C:\Program Files\Atlantis\Atlantis.exe" -LoadSettingsFromIni

or

"C:\Program Files\Atlantis\Atlantis.exe" -lsi
