I'd like to see in the next version a ''word counter something'' on the toolbar (or in the status bar), which you can view without clicking anything... Is it possible? (Sorry for my poor english, I hope you understand what I mean...)

Atlantis already has a "Word Count" toolbar button. You can also use the "Tools | Word Count" menu command.

I believe he's asking for an option to show the current word count in the status bar so it would be continually on display. Perhaps this could be a dual-figure e.g. "200:453" indicating that the cursor is currently at word 200 in a document containing 453 words.

I have seen this in other word processors: you can view the number of words continiously either on toolbar (eg 602 Text) either on tray (eg CopyWriter). I'm working as a journalist in Greece and I'm writing articles with definite number of words - and pressing deadlines... (Sorry again for my poor english).
I am a registered user of AtlantisOM which is the program I prefer to use...
