Multiple columns

Post by steve »

Hello everyone!

I am very new to word processing and I try to figure things out on my own...but this one has me stumped.

I can't seem to find an easy way to have two or three columns on a page. I was trying to make a list with three vertical columns and had little luck.

I played with the tabs and indents with no success. I would like to make a column, then start on the next column, with the return bringing me back to the start of the second column and third etc. I don't know if I have explained it well. :(

Any help?

Steve

Steve, the current versions of Atlantis do not support tables or columns. :'(
Stick around, the developers have indicated that future versions may well do so. I and many other Atlantis users feel that such features are about all the Atlantis needs to be a complete replacement for the big WP app.s like M$ Word and Corel's WordPerfect.

Thanks for the info Max. This has been the only thing I have not been able to do, all other things work great. This capability would make Atlantis complete for my purposes.

Thanks again,

Steve

Yes, as someone who has recently downloaded Atlantis
Nova, I think that having the capacity to format columns (and tables) would complete the product nicely - it really needs this feature more than, say ,sound effects.

Aside from that shortcoming its great!

/Andy
