Now, as Sun among others has made a plugin that work with MS Office to save documents in ODF, I hope you will do the same.
ODF has become the de facto standard among many official offices and gouvernmens already, and the open standard is spreading extensive and fast.
Since Microsoft has opened up for the use, I was hoping you would do the same. I am sure you are more than able to fit the plugin to Atlantis easy.
If you do this, I promise not to nag about tables for a long time ;-)

Open Document Format (ODF)
I'll second that request: RTF, whilst supposedly a standard format, has long been mangled by Word, and isn't even properly supported in OpenOffice.org. And DOC files of course have always had masses of cross-application issues, and change their specs whenever Microsoft sneezes.
Given the lack of other cross-application alternatives, ODF does make sense. The specs are freely available, and it's a compact format, too, so files shouldn't bloat.
Just my tuppence.
