Display number of docs open?

Iconless ("plain text") buttons would not look good. Also when there are many documents open, it would be hard to tell which text belongs to which button. Actually it would be hard to find out the left and right edges of a given Document Bar button. The Document Bar would look like a continuous line of text.

I can't say I agree with your objections (e.g. the button edges would encapsulate the text so it didn't look like a continuous line, wouldn't they?) but you're the boss.

Also pressing Alt+0 displays the list of the currently open documents.

Is it possible to make this tiny window resizeable? Currently it can show only 12 documents at once and only 60 symbols horizontally, which is not enough, if you regard the full path length. Dare to suggest, that technically it is a quite simple task, isn't it?

No, surely I am not so good. However the life forces me to do it. The average number of documents in my projects (I mean Atlantis projects) is 15-20, sometimes up to 30. And, yes they all are really needed concurrently, because they are connected.

And regarding the length - I use content rich names for files and folders, so the average length of the full name (path + name) is about 150-180 symbols.

Is there any hope to get implemented this feature request we've discussed 4 years ago? Well, I admit, that it not a high priority task, but the changes in the source code of the app are not considerable too.

In the next release of Atlantis Word Processor this window will be significantly larger.
