Format > List….
I need 3 simple number presets for my document. Moving them down to the gallery seems to work fine, at first glance. However, when applying them, it turns out they’re all muddled and don’t keep their assigned indents.
Upon editing the indents, the changes are applied to the other two presets as well. Which ruins the whole idea of what presets are about.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
Indents don't stick
This should not happen unless you do something in a wrong manner. For the correct way, please have a look at The "Format | List" dialog and the List Gallery

double-clicking the gallery item was the clue here, to get to see the values assigned to a preset.
I had read all this help stuff before, but since most of it seems to work the standard way, I must have skipped this essential point. Very unusual handling, but no big deal once you know how it works.
