Date format

Post by JohnKS »

Hi. Thank you for the new release of Atlantis. I have noticed some speed improvements when loading. Very nice. Regarding date formats, I want to enter dates very simply as: Numeric day (no leading zero) Month (full or abbreviated) Year - with no commas at all between any of the elements. Can this be done? Best wishes, John Stafford

You could modify the Long date format of your Windows (Start | Settings | Control Panel, Regional Settings, the “Date” tab) in this way:

d MMM yyyy

or

d MMMM yyyy

or

d MMM yy

or

d MMMM yy

Then restart Atlantis.

Thank you for your reply. I have done this but Atlantis does not give me the option of using it. When I set the date and time format inside Atlantis, dd Mmmm yyyy is not available.

The above screenshot was made on Win2k. The date/time formats work identically on all versions of Windows. Make sure that the "Date" page of your Regional Settings looks in the same way as on this screenshot.

I have a screenshot also which might best depict my situation. How can I post it or send it?

The following picture shows where your current short date format (blue) and long date format (red) should appear among the Atlantis date formats:
