Hot key reverse

Post by 1953 »

I use the hot key ctrl+3 on the numeric keypad to minimize to system tray. Can I use a hotkey to reverse the process, if so how. I may have missed it somewhere in the help file but cannot find how to do it. Also is it at all possible to open Atlantis from the desktop using a hotkey, I presume Atlantis has to be open first to be able to use hotkeys. This would be incredibly useful.

You can do this through windows now.

If you already have a shortcut to Atlantis on your desktop 1) right-click on it and select "Properties" 3) then in the textbox that says "Shortcut key" enter something like F2 or whichever unused hotkey that you want to trigger Atlantis.

You could also put a shortcut to atlantis in your start menu above the Programs/Favorites/Documents etc. Provided you didn't have anything else there starting with "A" you'd just have to press Win+A to start Atlantis.

A reactivate from systray hotkey would be easier than the mouse though

The latest build allows to assign a hot key to the “Restore from system tray” command through the “Tools | Hot Keys” dialog.
