I'm setting a book for offset in Ocean Mind that I just downloaded the other day.
Is there a way to isolate the actions on a particular page from affecting the other pages?
(I know there are supposed to be no dumb questions but I sure feel dumb asking this one!)
ie: Can you set margins for only ONE page in say, a 56 page doc, and not have all the other pages be changed??
Also is there a way to prevent the bumping of the other pages when I move lines etc. in the page I'm working on?
I have it justified and changes seem to affect everything else and I'm having to go through the whole thing to reverse the changes.
Thanks!
Doug

Doug, it sounds like you might find it helpful to use sections. The Help file in Atlantis provides a good explanation of how to use sections to control formatting on a section-by-section basis, and you can add the "insert new section" commaands to the dropdown menus, if you wish. I've done this to make it easier to access them, since using sections does give much more control over formatting

Each document section in Atlantis can have its own page settings (page width & height, orientation, margins).
You could select a page which you want to have special page settings (for example, different page margins), then choose "File | Page Settings", specify the desired page margins, and choose "Selected text" from the "Apply to" box. Atlantis would automatically create document sections, and format them respectively.
