File extensions and saving (bug)
File extensions and saving (bug)
I found a problem that I can reproduce under the following steps:<br><br>1. Create a new file<br>2. Select "File/Save as"<br>3. Type in a filename, but do not type a file extension.<br>4. Make sure that "Rich Text Document" is selected as the type of file.<br>5. Click Save.<br>** At this point, the file is created, and is an RTF file, but the filename is simply [filename], not [filename.rtf]. EVERY OTHER editor program I know of, be it Notepad, Wordpad, Word, etc, will add the file extension for you.

Re: File extensions and saving (bug)
I just tried this. I created a new document, selected save as. It gave me a suggested name "Doc87.rtf" I deleted that and just typed blah - no extension. After saving, the name of the document showed up as blah.rtf.
Salaam alaikum, noho ora mai

Re: File extensions and saving (bug)
Atlantis never adds a file extension if the filename is terminated with a fullstop:<br><br>blah.<br>
