Ich möchte jetzt endlich ein deutsches Atlantis. Wäre gern bereit, einiges dazu beizutragen - wer macht mit?
I want a german speaking version of Atlantis. For this there is a lot to do. Is there anybody out there that would help me?

yes, of cause I know that. My idea was -and is- to offer a german version. I've talked to Taras to this far far away in 2002. I don't know, if he ist actually a member of your crew...
There are about 82 million germans - not counted the Austrians and people coming from Switzerland speaking German.
Please accept that I don't want to talk about privacy, education and so on right here. I'm German, I love Atlantis (and some other
), member in our Linux User Group - that's enough at the moment.

Thanks for your offer. But localizing Atlantis into any language would require months. It is not a question of menus or toolbar hints. Atlantis includes a huge amount of various locale-dependent resources. And we could not distribute partially-localized software. Finally we could not provide German-speaking users with technical support in German. But thanks for your offer again.
