The Atlantis File | Page Settings… dialog has been improved. When you close this dialog, Atlantis might now pop up a warning if it detects possible problems with the document margins (including with the header/footer margins if the document has headers or footers). If the current page margins are smaller than the smallest margins supported by your default printer, Atlantis will display this dialog:
If you click “Yes” in the above dialog, Atlantis will set appropriate minimal values for the margins so that nothing gets cut off when you print the document.
When you send a document to the printer, Atlantis will now also warn you about possible problems if it detects that some of the document text might be cut off. You can then ask Atlantis to apply a solution automatically:
Note that Atlantis is able to detect page margin problems and suggest automatic solutions when printing not only ordinary documents but also booklets, and other documents in “2+ pages per sheet side” mode.
The Print Preview mode of Atlantis is now even more realistic. If your document has been defined with page margins which are too small to be properly printed by the default printer, the “Print Preview” will show which page contents would be cut off if you print the document as is:
As you can see in the above illustration, the document contents that would be cut off in the printed job are showing only partially or not at all in the preview window. Let's suppose now that your document includes pages with different orientation – portrait and landscape. For instance, you might want to include diagrams or pictures in landscape orientation to an otherwise "Portrait" document:
If you print this document in the “2+ pages per sheet side” mode, Atlantis will now print it so that even in this special printing mode the landscape pages are still printed with landscape orientation:
Previously, the landscape pages would have been converted to portrait pages. Now they retain their original orientation.
