As you know, the Atlantis Format Brush toolbar button is associated with a drop-down Format Palette:

Clicking any item on the Format Palette loads the Format Brush with the corresponding format. The Format Brush can then be used to apply the selected format to various fragments of document.

In the new version of Atlantis this same Format Palette is also available as a separate panel on the Atlantis Control Board. It displays with a click on the "palette" button of the top toolbar:

Double-clicking a format on the Format Palette panel applies the format to the selection, if any. In the absence of a selection, double-clicking a format switches the Format Brush mode on and loads the corresponding format.

At the bottom of the Format Palette panel is a toolbar with a number of command buttons. You can:

• Create new formats.
• Use a special format picker to create new formats "on-the-fly" from paragraphs in the document window.
• Edit the properties of the highlighted format (note that paragraph formatting properties can now be included in the formatting properties of the Format Palette items).
• Delete a format.
• Restore the default Format Palette of Atlantis.
