New GUI of Atlantis Word Processor

In recent years we have made a lot of changes under the hood of Atlantis Word Processor.

Now the time has come for big changes to the look and feel of Atlantis.

Atlantis will soon have a new updated GUI. This is a preview of the upcoming version of Atlantis.

Atlantis Word Processor will have new toolbars with commands grouped into categories:

Command categories

Most commands in new Atlantis will be one-click-away, and hovering over a toolbar will give you instant access to more commands in the same category:

More toolbar commands

Etc.

You won't need to click tabs like you would with a Ribbon UI. You won't need to switch toolbar sets like you had to in old Atlantis.

Some of the toolbars will be displayed only when their dedicated commands are relevant to the current selection. These Atlantis context toolbars will give you the best of all possible worlds: they will sit next to the other more permanent toolbars and won't use a single square inch of the document working area.

On the screen captures below, four context toolbars (Header & Footer, Bullets & Numbering, Table, and Picture) are displayed:

Hovering over a toolbar button for a few seconds will display an advanced tooltip telling you what the command does, why a given command is currently unavailable, and occasionally referring you to additional information in the Atlantis Help.
