Also, you may want to use a dedicated ePub editing program such as Sigil (http://code.google.com/p/sigil/) -- it lets you find and tweak ePub elements through a more intuitive interface.

The AutoCorrect of Atlantis can be used after-you-type. Just choose the "Tools | AutoCorrect..." menu command of Atlantis to "correct" existing texts. Addendum: I've found that using a JPEG saved with the parameters set to high quality / minimal compression is a reasonably satisfactory workaround.

ePub Cover Image Format -- Specify PNG?

Atlantis seems to create ePub cover images as JPEG format even if the original image placed on the document first page is a PNG. Is there a way to get it to use PNG format (most of my cover images are cartoon-style rather than photographic, so PNG would be a better format choice).
