My first go at figuring out the format for the RplcTxt sections is here: https://app.box.com/s/f6qd2x7grw2hagb0rlbzi6e5ebfg6k9y (I linked to the document because the forum apparently doesn't like some of the characters I used in it) Eventually I'll write up a utility to convert to and from the INI ...

You can use a table to simulate a drop-cap, as in the attached file. The first style works well for print or PDF publication, since you can break the first few lines out of the table as appropriate, and the second style could work in eBooks where the line length can change. It's not perfect, but it ...

A spec for the format used in the

Code: Select all

[\Software\Atlantis Word Processor\Autocorrect\9\RplcTxt]
section of the import/export .ini file would work too, in lieu of adding new features.

I also would love import/export of autocorrect entries. It would make batch changes much easier (for instance, I use autocorrect to insert the gamut of non-ASCII characters, and years ago I decided on "|" as the punctuation character to delimit the replace string; now I'd like to change that to ...

You are correct - v3.1.1.0 exports HTML properly. The issue is only with the v2 series.

Thanks for testing it out - I've upgraded to 3.1.1 and all is well.

Were you able to replicate this issue on your setup? Is it something unique to my documents?

Basically, tabs in the Atlantis document are not reflected in the HTML output: 1. If you look at the "orignal HTML" of the user's guide, you'll see that in the TOC the leading "...."s come -before- the TOC entry. Similarly, in numbered lists in which a Tab separates the list digit from the list item ...

Atlantis HTML Utility

Hello all, I've written a little program to post-process HTML files exported by Atlantis, to make them visually a bit more pleasing, and to compensate for a few bugs in Atlantis v2 regarding HTML that I encountered. https://jessepav.github.io/atlantis-html-util/users-guide.html I've been using the ...

Hi Robert, I'm copying Unicode text from my text editor (jEdit), and pasting it into Atlantis. I've written a set of custom jEdit macros to generate the sort of text diagrams that I need using the Unicode box drawing characters. The "2017" example was just to show the sort of character conversion ...

Atlantis Replaces Unicode Box Characters With ASCII

In previous versions of Atlantis (before 2.0?) I was able to paste plain Unicode text box characters into Atlantis, for instance ┌────┐ │2017│ └────┘ But in 2.0.4 if I attempt to paste that as Unicode Text, Atlantis ...

Hi patr, Just as a note, there are certain help pages (like AutoCorrect options, and the Symbols & Characters Dialog) that are not accessible via the Table of Contents, and thus won't be mirrored by httrack by default. You can add them to the root URL list to get a copy. The ones I've find so far ...

Online Help Search Isn't Working

It seems Google custom site search isn't configured to properly search the online help.

For instance, searching for "Invert" yields no hits (despite Invert Selection being a hotkey).

I still really wish we had offline help.

Jesse

Take note, however, that this CHM help file is from v1.6.6.1 at the end of 2013, and so doesn't reflect some of the more recent changes to Atlantis.

Thank you for the clarification.

Are there any other symbol/punctuation characters that I should avoid when defining AutoCorrect strings?

Hi Robert,

Yup, the grave accent (96 aka U+0060) is what I meant by backtick.

I figure since other characters classified as Unicode modifier symbols (ex. "^" circumflex) work, the grave accent should play along with them.

Best,
Jesse
