PDF/X-1a:2001 new feature request
I know this request is off-the-wall. It's so expensive to convert DOCX files to PDF/X-1a:2001 files it would be wonderful if that conversion could be done by Atlantis. Kindle requires "print-quality" PDF files. Adobe and Quark are the only providers I can find for the conversion. The Adobe Distiller ...

A to-do list for fixing plot problems. A list of comments?
I finished the draft of a novel by writing it in Atlantis. I have done a lot of revising already. Now I need to read through the novel as a whole to look for plot errors. As I do this I don't want to be tempted to make minor revisions, but I do want to mark areas that need work and make a note to ...

Ralph

Thanks for the suggestions. This is a little difficult. For instance, I currently use a list to number my chapters automatically with a specific heading. I don't usually have a heading for scenes but I use **** at the end of scenes. I can move scenes around but if I move a chapter the scenes don't ...

Need a scene assembler
I would like a graphical user interface to a tree structure of files where the trunk is a novel, the branches chapter names, and the leaves are the scenes. The scenes would be written as usual in Atlantis. But, a special feature could be invoked to assemble all the scenes into a complete novel. And ...

Float images
Other word processors can float text around images. This would be a nice addition -- it makes the printed output look more professional -- and it saves paper. I don't know if floating content is allowed for e-books, but it certainly is part of HTML5.
