Re: Change font size of any sentence encased in (12pt) curly brackets
Thank you! I will test that as well.
Before you replied I had found:
\{[!{}]{0,}\}
[https://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/e ... theses.htm]
This seems to work correctly also. Given your knowledge, does that sequence of wildcards look like it should work correctly as well?

Re: Change font size of any sentence encased in (12pt) curly brackets
To ask another way: which wildcards indicate either a word or a sentence (words with spaces between them)?
For example: "In this sentence I only want to change the font size of this text: {yes, only this text within curly brackets} but I don't know which wildcards to use."

Change font size of any sentence encased in (12pt) curly brackets
Hi, I have an extensive document in which I'm using curly brackets { } to add commentary and notes to the existing text. I'm using different font sizes for the curly bracket notes in various places. It doesn't matter that they are curly or other brackets (or parentheses), I'm just forced to use ...

Re: Windows sound triggered
I see. I will keep the Notifications on, but disable the sound. Verified, that was the issue. Thank you for the info!

Re: Windows sound triggered
Yes, it does appear to be caused by that. Is there a general way to turn off those notifications altogether, or does one have to uncheck all the boxes under optional notifications? I just prefer the old behavior.

Windows sound triggered
Hi, since the last couple of versions, when I start Atlantis, then go to a menu dropdown or look at "about" or anything like that, once I get out of the menu or click outside/off, it triggers a Windows sound. I hope you guys can reproduce this. For example, I start up Atlantis, go to the Tools menu ...

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.6 (beta)
Thanks for getting back to me. As it turns out, there was indeed an inherited permission issue to the folder due to using a custom installer (it creates shortcuts and other things for various apps I use). Strangely, running the spelling installers as admin did not overcome the issue (hence the ...

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.6 (beta)
Yes, it is: C:\Apps\Atlantis.Word\awp.exeCan you tell the full path to that folder? Does it contain "awp.exe"?
I can see the \Apps folder but cannot navigate beyond that to any of the subfolders (It appears empty).

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.6 (beta)
You can install this new version to the current home folder of Atlantis on your system, if any, or to a different folder. If you decide to revert to the previous version, you can download & run its setup file to downgrade. I have my Atlantis installed in a custom folder (only 2 folders deep from C ...

Re: 4.2.2.0/1 Search issue
Thank you for considering it. I'll use v4.2.1.1 for now as I use that "function" all the time -- even if it was a side-effect :) The texts are just too complex and voluminous to do strict searches, especially since in the various textual variances are indicated by different diacritics in the ...

4.2.2.0/1 Search issue
Hi, Since v4.2.2.0 (also in v4.2.2.1) a huge part of search functionality has gone by the wayside. (This may have to do with the "major revision of the AutoCorrect tool.") Using Atlantis a lot for work with text that is replete with diacritical marks, all the way up to v4.2.1.1 (so, forever) I was ...

Question about justified vs left-aligned for blank lines
Hi All, I'm working on a huge documents that has many, many paragraphs and has blank lines (or technically "paragraphs" without text, I suppose) between many of these. There are (a) paragraphs with special font formatting (smaller font size, bold), (b) paragraphs with large portions of text ...

Re: Font preview issue
That makes a lot of sense. I was able to verify that, indeed, the documents was rife with line-breaks. I copy-pasted it in a new document using "paste as environment" and it fixed the line-breaks and it converted them to end-of-paragraph and then had no issue with font preview. Thank you :!:

Re: Font preview issue
Sorry for the late response -- I thought I had saved the document I was having the issue with (a copy-paste from a web article) and then couldn't find it anymore but I actually just found it :) Okay, I was re-reading my original post and realized I did not clarify that I often have this issue when ...

Font preview issue
Hi, I've been having an issue with the font preview window hanging/freezing (font selection drop-down menu). I think it has something to do with a few fonts I'm using. One of these is Sanskrit2003 and I placed it in the fav section on top. So what happens is that in selecting a font for a document ...
