Re: Track changes
I'm adding my request to this. I'm going to have to switch software, which is a real shame, because I love Atlantis, but I can't manage without Track Changes. I've asked several times.

Re: Bold font not displaying
It's Bookman Old, any size of the font, and it doesn't matter which Style I use, none of them are showing as bold. I tried another font, Garamond, and it was the same. But both show fine in Libre Office and Softmaker's Textmaker, the other word processors I have (for Track Changes).

Bold font not displaying
This is connected with my previous question. I have a fully updated version of AWP. When I bold a font or a piece of text, it's not displaying as Bold. It changes the kerning slightly, but that's all. I changed the font, thinking it might be that, but it isn't. Bold just isn't showing. I've tried ...

Updated template
I've updated my default template to use a different font. Is there a way that I can apply the new version to older documents?

Slow to start
AWP is taking a very long time to start. I have the latest version, and keep half a dozen tabs open, none of them complex. Any idea what is happening?

Re: Menu bars too small
I had to change all the magnification through the Windows app, rather than through Atlantis. It's tricky to get the right balance, and there's a program called Windows Aero where you can do it with more accuracy.

Re: autocorrect items reset after update
It happened to me, too. All my autocorrects have gone, and I can't import them from the old file. I think it might be different coding? anything new that I put in sticks, but I have far too many to do that for everything I had there before.

Menu bars too small
I recently got a new computer with a 4k monitor. When I open Atlantis, the menu bars and status bars are really small. I can change the size of the buttons fine, but not these. Is there any way of doing it so I can, you know, actually see them and use them?

Re: Error Creating File
Yes, I use a custom location, the one I've used every since version 3 with no problems. My backup folder is in a different place to my Windows folder, but it always has been. I don't keep personal folders on the same drive because it doesn't make sense. I did try creating a new folder, or rather ...

Re: Error Creating File
Just checked again, and the message isn't being created now. I've restarted, renamed the old backup folder so that a new one is created, but so far nothing is working.

Error Creating File
Since the new update, I'm constantly getting the message "Error Creating File" for the backup. There's no error message, and the file is actually being created, but the message keeps appearing.
Any idea what I can do to stop it?

Any news about Track Changes and Comments?
I just want Track Changes, but there's been no sign of it yet. It must be very hard to implement. I still love AWP and tell people how great it is, but there's still no sign of Track Changes, which is essential for authors, so a lot of people are put off by this. And yes, does Libre Office ever ...

Thank you for your reply. I was looking for something a bit more straightforward, like an autocorrect file attached to an installed language option, but UK English and US English are treated as the same language. When you have a 90,000 word document, that would be more straightforward. I can't see ...

Autocorrect in version 4
I would love to have different autocorrect versions for different languages. Then I could automatically put my English spelling into the US version, eg colour to color and so on. I write in UK English, but some of the people I sent manuscripts to want it in US English. But only some, not all. Going ...

Is there a way to make Insert default, instead of Overtype? I'm always overtyping my work, and having to stop and redo it!

Just popped back to say thank you. You replied to my query promptly and really helpfully. That's worth a lot to me. I used to use another word processing program (no names, no pack drill!) and when I asked them about a problem, much more serious than this, they said it had never happened to anyone ...
