Re: intermittent, undeletable 0.5" tab in footnotes
Your documents do not use any template. They were created from a certain template. If you delete all your document templates, this would have absolutely no effect on any of your existing documents. I can only reiterate that the document templates in Atlantis do not work in the way you think. You are ...

Feature request: allow document projects to be listed in "Favorites" and "recent documents"
I use document projects, thus have multiple documents loaded. Why does "favorites" and "recent documents" only list individual documents and ignore document projects? I always have to find my project on disk to load it, when it should be available in either of those nodes of the file dropdown (or in ...

Re: intermittent, undeletable 0.5" tab in footnotes
There is no link between individual documents in Atlantis. Your conceptions of document templates in Atlantis are not correct. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All my documents use the same document template, but because it does not get updated when I ...

Re: Add dialog to save template if styles or other template meta-data or modified
Possibly you still do not fully understand how document templates work in Atlantis. Document templates in Atlantis do not work in the way they do in MS Word. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, No, I do understand because there is nothing to ...

Re: Add dialog to save template if styles or other template meta-data or modified
I did not give you the correct path for the feature. Sorry. It should be MAIN MENU: Format > Style ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I figured that out after I posted my reply. What I end up doing is loading the custom template and following that process to update ...

intermittent, undeletable 0.5" tab in footnotes
I noticed that my latest document (a chapter of my book) suddenly has a 0.5" tab in all inserted footnotes after inserting more than a dozen with no tab. Previous docs did NOT have the 0.5" tab, and it looks bad in the same page as footnotes without the tab. I have gotten rid of the 0.5" tab in the ...

Re: Add dialog to save template if styles or other template meta-data or modified
To do this, use FILE > STYLES and select IMPORT. Choose the file that you have previously worked on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This would be an OK work-around IF I had that option. Is that new in the latest version (I'm using v. 4.1.6.1.)? When I ...

make a document read-only within the user interface
Along with the Documents project feature (a most excellent feature I might add, much better than anything like it offered by competitors that I have tried), I would like to suggest the ability to make a document read-only within the document interface. The rich-edit control has this feature innately ...

Re: A wey to know what template was used to create a document?
I understand that. That's why I am requesting a NEW FEATURE of storing the name of what template was used to create the document with the document. This would also help with my other NEW FEATURE request of being prompted to save style changes with the template where they are stored.

Re: Add dialog to save template if styles or other template meta-data or modified
No, I don't think you were following what I was saying. It did prompt me to save changes to the document which I did save. It did NOT prompt to save changes to the TEMPLATE, which is where those styles are stored, thus I lost all changes to the styles. They only way to save those changes is to open ...

Add dialog to save template if styles or other template meta-data or modified
I modified the styles in a document and upon closing, was not asked to save template, thus all my style modifications were lost. Could you add the "save template" dialog popup feature, if style or other data that is stored in the template get modified (like Word does)? Otherwise I have to open the ...

What file are Saved Searches saved in?
I composed a couple of regex searches and saved them, but the "Save" button did not become activated. and the file I composed the search for is ReadOnly (because it is a source of my research and I don't want to accidentally modify it). My Searches already didn't get saved once because of this but I ...

Re: Access Violation
It hasn't happened since the update, but I haven't been doing a lot of adding/removing documents from the project either. But I'll certainly let you know if I encounter any more Access violations.
I've done 2 updates since the access violation and am now running v. 4.1.5.1

Re: Access Violation
This seems like a good place to report the access violation I experienced while removing documents from my Document project. I only experienced it once but all I did was remove a document from my document library and got an Access violation. I had added and removed one or two documents before it ...
