I gave up on tables in Atlantis two years ago, and am now happily committed to OpenOffice. It's fine to add new features to Atlantis, but the continued lack of tables is just bizarre. And in my case at least, lost my interest and my money.

Many thanks for the explanation, and for the very pleasant surprise of an updated executable, which appears to work just fine. Old topic, I know, but seeing as in posting mode... For my needs, there's no usefulness in having a "save to PDF" function as part of Atlantis. Exactly the same is provided by the open-source PDF Creator recommended above (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator), which works perfectly these days ...

I'll second that request: RTF, whilst supposedly a standard format, has long been mangled by Word, and isn't even properly supported in OpenOffice.org. And DOC files of course have always had masses of cross-application issues, and change their specs whenever Microsoft sneezes. Given the lack of ...

It's been a while since I took a look at Atlantis - congratulations, it's looking very nice these days. I'm still awaiting tables, though, before switching (hint hint!) - tables would make it a slam dunk. In testing the latest release, I found what appears to be quite a major bug in Atlantis ...
