Restart Numbering Not Working As Expected

Post by freecicero »

I have a document on which I am working where I have a multi-leveled outline, and I want the subheadings to "restart" in each subheading.

My document renumbering restarts in the subsections properly in Word 2003, Libreoffice, and Textmaker, but does not in Atlantis.

We made this work in Word 2003 by selecting reveal formatting, selecting the first of the second-level headings in subsequent instances, and clicked "List" and then selected "restart numbering." After giving this command, the numbering works properly in Word 2003, Libreoffice, and Textmaker. But this command does not seem to be carrying over into Atlantis, and when I open the same section in Atlantis' version of reveal formatting I do not get an option to restart numbering.

Is there a way I could send this in as a test document to ask for help troubleshooting this and perhaps pick up a bug? Or is this description enough? I presume that this should work properly, but if not just let me know.
