I look forward every morning to starting up my computing machines
b/c of 2 apps especially - Atlantis & dOpus! ... just sayin'
Today after spending some time (unsuccessfully) to auto-start Atlantis at login -
both delayed (no problem) as well as minimized (Atlantis won't do it) -
in Windows Task Scheduler and also writing several batch files,
I realized I should probably check the forum - and found admin response here:
viewtopic.php?p=6178&sid=ab73d356d6f24d ... 8fc7#p6178
For my own education as a beginning developer (R for Data Analysis), I'm curious -
* Does a program/application need to be written-coded to Explicitly Allow starting Minimized? or ...
* Will a program inherently respond to a minimize 'command' as long as it isn't Explicitly Denied?
meaning also - Atlantis won't start minimized b/c it's coded to Prohibit that?
and if so - why? Because .... as an application that allows multiple document interfaces,
that would cause too many problems? or .... ??
I really am keen to understand this, if admin can take a moment to explain it. Thank You
Atlantis won't start minimized - why?
Re: Atlantis won't start minimized - why?
I am sorry, but you cannot start Atlantis minimized. As I understand, the corresponding Windows function tries to minimize a wrong window of Atlantis.
