It has a serious copy paste issue. Paste, notably.
When I paste anything it appears as a black bar, totally unreadable.
I went back to using version 4.3.1.6
Update: This fix does indeed work: turn off directwrite.
As I am the official maintainer for Atlantis in the WINE APPs, I will add this note for users.
Keep up the good work!

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.2 (beta)
Version 4.3.2 is not about pasting but about different methods to render document text.
Where do you paste text from?
What typeface is associated with the pasted text (what font name is reported by the toolbars when you click the black bar)?
Could you post a screen capture with that black bar?
What about switching to a different rendering method?

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.2 (beta)
I’ve been trying out Atlantis’s new DirectWrite text rendering options over the week or so using two different laptops (with different screen pixel densities) and a variety of my favorite screen fonts …
Character Spacing: DirectWrite does a better job with character spacing than GDI does, most noticeably with small text on a low-pixel-density screen, but also with large text. There are a few situations in which a character is a bit more nicely spaced and placed by GDI, but DirectWrite does a better job the vast majority of the time.
Individual Character Rendering: DirectWrite-ClearType produces noticeably heavier/bolder line weights than GDI-ClearType does -- a degree too heavy/bold for my taste, but some users may prefer it, I suppose, depending on monitor quality and fonts used. DirectWrite-grayscale produces fatter lines still, with softer (less focused/crisp) edges than DirectWrite-ClearType produces.
As it stands, I find the output of the DirectWrite-grayscale combination unacceptably fat/bold and soft-focused/fuzzy. The output of the DirectWrite-ClearType combination is less bold but still a degree bolder than I’d prefer, but it’s acceptably focused/crisp. If I can adjust to the bolder presentation, I may opt for DirectWrite-ClearType over GDI-ClearType because of the better character spacing, but I’ll wait and see how the 4.3.2.0 beta process unfolds.

Unrelated printing bug: When printing a document, only the top portion of each page shows up on my copier’s print preview and actually prints. The same problem occurs when “printing” to PDF or to XPS. I’m currently using 4.3.2.0 beta b0, but the problem has existed for several betas now.

Re: Atlantis Word Processor 4.3.2 (beta)
The results may differ depending on the typeface, font size, and zooming factor. But the intercharacter spacing under DirectWrite is nearly always perfect thanks to subpixel positioning.
Fixed. Thank you.Unrelated printing bug
