New update 4.3.2 Access Violation Error DWrite.dll

Love your program and successfully updated it on many previous versions.
However, installing today's version 4.3.2 (7/17/23) having an error when starting program.
Finally, found online an earlier version 4.3.17 that does open Atlantis properly.
An image is included in this message. Looking forward for an answer as others if having same issue.

Does this error message pop up before any other window of Atlantis comes up? It would be good to know if the error occurs at the initialization stage, or when displaying actual document contents.

I'm getting the same error message. It happens on startup, I click OK, but the startup process proceeds no further. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it hasn't helped. I still get the error message, then lockup.

Please download & run this debug setup file. Then run Atlantis. It should display the "DirectWrite initialization - Step N" messages. Which is the last step number before the error?

I am not getting that error. But unlike v. 4.3.1.6, I get a black bar across the document as soon as I start typing. It expands as more lines are added. Very annoying. I re-installed 4.3.1.6 and all is well again.

I use it in Linux via WINE 8.12 btw.

dougrrr, you already reported this in another forum thread, but never replied to my post.

Atlantis is not a native Linux application. Apparently there are some DirectWrite-related issues under Wine. You could simply switch to any non-DirectWrite rendering method on the “General” tab of the “Tools | Options...” dialog of 4.3.2.

The box pops up when I click icon to start program. Nothing happens thereafter. I simply click close, closing error box.
Tried re-booting with same result. Nothing different about system. Using ver. 4.3.17 that does work properly.
Haven't tried installing newest version. Will check it again. If it crashes again, I will run setup debug file for an answer.
BTW, using Win 10 Pro.

This error is triggered by certain uncommon fonts. Fixed in version 4.3.2.1. Just download the setup file of the latest version, and run it.
