Atlantis Word Processor in your language
Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
Hi
I started translating, but today I noticed that there is a new update for Atlantis. Does it change or introduce any new text to the translation? Will you inform about such changes in the future? Will I lose the "Lang" folder when updating Atlantis?

Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
This is not a problem. You should keep updating your copy of Atlantis. Atlantis will never modify your "test" files.
Any future version of Atlantis will be able to use your language pack even if it is incomplete (missing files or resource items) or not completely translated. New releases of Atlantis will not change existing text resource items. They will add new items as needed. A complete log of new text resource items will be available on our site in the future. So, it would be easy to update previously created language packs correspondingly. But Atlantis 4.4.1.6 (and higher) can reliably use language packs that lack certain resource items. There are no new resource items in 4.4.1.7. But if version 4.4.1.7 had introduced a new message, you could still use version 4.4.1.7 with your "old" Polish language pack. Atlantis would simply display the new message in English (Atlantis would retrieve the new message from its built-in English language pack).
Backing up your "Test" folder regularly is a good idea in any case.

Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
To make sure that Atlantis is using your language pack from the "Lang\Test" folder, you can choose the "Tools | Options..." menu command of Atlantis (4.4.1.7 and higher), and click the "Accessibility" tab. At the top it should say "User interface in test mode".
Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
Thanks for explaining. After the update everything works fine. A list of translation changes published on the website will be very helpful, especially when the translation is ready.
Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
Good afternoon. How can I get the Atlantis Word user interface in Spanish? Thanks for your help
Re: Atlantis Word Processor in your language
There is no Spanish user interface at this point. It will be available when someone volunteers to create it.
