what's next?

Post by Andremusic »

I was wondering what the Atlantis team is working on right now? What will be seen in a future update?

Tables

Post by keyosuke »

I spent a whole day evaluating wordprocessors with two things in mind. I have 10mb of free space and need to edit Word documents. Naturally that lead me to Atlantis, CopyWriter, Jarte, and Abiword. Atlantis wins that battle. It's a lot smaller than Abiword and I see all of the necessary features except the grammar checker (which nobody seems to get right anyway) and tables. I am glad Atlantis exists and solved my purpose but it is good enough that I want to switch to it. All I require is those tables, so when you guys finish that, I'll be your newest customer. Well, thanks for the great word processor regardless, and yay for the tables we'll be getting. Any word on around what month? :-)

We cannot give you a timetable. But you can subscribe to the Atlantis Mailing List. You will be kept informed about all new releases of Atlantis and other related news.

Now we enjoy issue / udate 1.6.1.1
What kind of classification doe you use?
What (kind of) difference will be, for example, 2.x.x.x ?
And what number the update with tables ? (yes, tables!)
Can you say something about it? Just curiosity.
