I cannot be sure that IE7 beta 3 is the culprit, but -
After installing the beta, I had several episodes of quiggy behavior with Atlantis. Text copied from Atlantis would not paste elsewhere. The more serious problem is that Atlantis would seize up and not respond at all. This happened 3-4 times while doing pretty innocuous stuff. That had never happened before.
Uninstalled IE 7 and Atlantis is back to working as it was before.
(Yeah, I know. . . Firefox rules. . . try Opera. . . yada yada. I like to live on the edge.)
Warning: MSIE 7 does not live well with Atlantis
We have already discovered this compatibility problem with MS IE 7.
MS IE 7 does not include names for most styles when composes the RTF data for the clipboard. It is quite unorthodox but still allowed by the MS RTF Specification. So these unnamed styles are the problem. A fix will be included in Atlantis 1.6.1.3. It will be released soon.
