I've been using Atlantis almost from its beginning, and think it's the greatest WP ever created. However, it has grown so feature enhanced it's hard to keep up with all the changes.
Has anyone written a book on Atlantis? If not, could you collect in one html all the usages given on the website when new features are introduced? (Atliantis for Dummies?) I realize users can do a search for a given feature if you know what it is, but I'm talking about being able to browse just to see what's there.

Atlantis book...?
Sorry, but we do not have a book on Atlantis.
All the Atlantis features are explained through the Help system of Atlantis and the site pages.
You could find the list of major features here:
http://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/en/features.htm
Please also check the ReadMe.txt file from the home folder of Atlantis (c:\Program Files\Atlantis\Readme.txt).
The Help Index of Atlantis also includes most features of Atlantis (please choose the "Help | Keyword Search" menu command in Atlantis).
Finally, you could check the Latest News site section:
http://www.atlantiswordprocessor.com/en/news
There are articles on older versions of Atlantis. There you could find interesting information on new features of Atlantis.
Hope this helps.

Actually, at least one incredibly cool feature of Atlantis does not seem to be explained in any of the places you refer to. I'm talking about the "Apply template"-feature. It can be found on the list of "all commands" available in Tools | Hotkeys, Tools | Menus or Tools | Toolbars. To me this is a shining example of the extremely clever design of Atlantis and it's a great mystery to me that this command is neither on a menu on a default-installation of Atlantis nor explained anywhere.admin wrote:Sorry, but we do not have a book on Atlantis.

The more usual approach is to use templates from scratch (File | New > Create From Template...) There is a convenient dedicated toolbar button ("Create new document from template"). You can also assign a hot key to it ("Tools | Hot Keys... > File > Create new document from template").
Cheers,

I realize all that. What is so cool about the "Apply template"-feature is the ability to change an already defined template to another - from "Draft" to "Book", for example, or from "Chicago" to "Turabian". That's cool in itself - but the ability to turn on live preview of the various templates is downright awesome and a real treasure of Atlantis.
