Normally, there are a few pixels between the text and the bottom of the screen. I've noticed on full screen mode, however, that the text is flush with the bottom of the screen, making a bit uncomfortable to look at.
It works okay if the status bar is visible, but when it's hidden, then text is flush with the bottom.

Screen captures attached. I noticed that it did it if I toggled between hiding status bar and not hiding status bar. If you are having trouble recreating, then try switching back and forth.

Thanks for the screen captures. But I still do not understand where is a problem. A paragraph line might display in the document window partially depending on the current vertical scrolling position in the document. Your two screen captures correspond to different scrolling positions in the document window. If you clicked a partially displaying line or put the blinking caret to it with the cursor keys, Atlantis would bring the entire line into view.
By the way, if you enable the "Tools | Options... > Edit > Anticipatory scrolling" option, Atlantis would scroll the document window to make the caret closer to the center of the document window every time you press a cursor key.

It has not to do with scrolling. I understand that I can scroll up and down, and that it's possible to scroll to the middle of line.
What I'm talking about is the normal automatic scrolling of the text as you type. Most word processors leave about two lines blank at the bottom of the screen as you type. This is visually appealing.
Atlantis scrolls all the way to the very bottom as you type. This is not visually appealing, but in the normal mode it leave a few pixels, so it's not all that bad.
In the full screen mode, however, it scrolls all the way to the bottom, and then some. any letter that is below the line, if you will, such as j or q or g, are cut off, or flush with the bottom. This is very distracting.
I suggest that the whole issue could be solved by always leaving at least one full line below the text being typed. That what the others do.
I love this program and bought it, but this is one of the bits in the beta that could be easily fixed and make the experience more pleasant.

I can reproduce this glitch under the Aero theme of Windows 7. It has been fixed in the latest beta. Thanks.

I use Windows 7 along with the Aero theme and just updated to the latest Atlantis Beta (1.6.5.4 Beta b1) and tried the F9 full screen view (as well as normal view) and it still regularly shows lines halfway off the screen. I must say it doesn’t bother me at all but thought it might be worth reporting if you believe it shouldn’t be happening.
I would think it would depend on how much your mouse wheel is set to scroll for each ‘roll’, whether the ‘Hide White Space’ is on or off, zoom level and any other setting that affects the vertical position of the page – or am I missing something?

Ah, turns out I was missing something - I didn’t realise you were talking about those particular conditions.
Having said that, I just tried putting the cursor on various lines and scrolling up and down using the mouse wheel. It seems that some lines will just naturally ‘land’ partway obscured off the bottom of the screen and it doesn’t seem to matter whether the cursor is on that line or not. But, yes, if I start typing on a partially obscured line, it will jump clear allowing me to see what I’m typing.
