Is there a button that I can add to the tool bar that would allow me to take a selection of text, highlight, and remove the formatting?
Right now I sometimes have to copy the text and then paste it as text followed by the reapplication of a style. In Microsoft Word they have a "clear formatting" button so I want to know if there is anything similar.
Thanks.
How to clear text formatting in Atlantis?
Funny you should ask. Just before Robert and Admin had given me their answers I had tried using that as well. I always saw that choice when I used the right mouse button, but it sounded so weird that I never tried it before. Instead I would do the "paste special" from the top line menu and select "text".
Feature request
I am rather new to Atlantis, but I like it.
I am having a problem and I am not sure how to approach it.
I want to copy and paste from another document into Atlantis.
I cannot get Atlantis to remove the "hard returns". Is there some way to do this/ add this?

Hi,
Copy and paste are done in Atlantis just like in any other software: "Ctrl+C", then "Ctrl+V".
Here is how to remove the hard returns:
1. Select the target text.
2. Press "Ctrl+Shift+U", or use the dedicated toolbar button:
If this button is not already on your toolbars, you can put it this way:
1. Click "Tools | Toolbars..."
2. In the Toolbars dialog, select "All Commands" in the "Categories" drop-down on the left.
3. Click in the commands box under the "Categories" caption.
4. Type "j" on your keyboard.
5. The "Join paragraphs" icon should appear in the window unless it is already placed on the toolbar selected on the right.
6. Use the double-arrows buttons to place the selected button on the toolbar selected on the right.
7. OK out of the dialog to validate your changes.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert
