I have a Word doc with about 300 images. After making the ePub, I'd like to add a lot of text anchor and hyperlinks with the book, to cross reference the images. I can sort of automate that if the image file names were as I named them, so they were easy to find, and maybe I could script something. I think Word keeps track of the file names of embedded images. So would it be possible for Atlantis to use those names?
I am not sure that MS Word stores names of graphic files within document files. Names of graphic filenames are stored within document file if you insert picture as a link to a graphic file.
I see what you mean. I saw it kept the name for linked documents so thought it might also for embedded. Ah well. Seems Word has no way of keeping track of that. I think I might have seen alt text (for html descriptions?) but I forgot.
