I need Open file to list items in Details view

When I open a new file I see all the files in the folder shown in "List" view. It's an easy thing to change it to "Details" so I can see the dates and sizes but it won't stay that way. I have to change it every time I Open a file. Where can I set a default for this? Thanks

Hi Franklin,
Unless I am mistaken, this is set in the Windows Explorer File Options: Default Display for folders.
