In Atlantis all the information localization is stored inside the file itself although Atlantis does keep a list of recently opened documents. A text file has no metadata capability thus nothing about the file can be kept within the file itself. Although it might be possible to keep the location in the list of recent files, I suppose, it would be lost after the file fell off the list.
