Hi
the status toolbar at the bottom of the screen"strobes".
Perhaps the status bar is attempting to flash a message to me.
I can stop the strobing by saving the file. This worked well when I had only 1 file open at a time. Now I have many files open at once this has become annoying.
Is there a fix?
Not a major issue as I can get by hiding the status bar, but I am hoping there is a better option.
thanks

Hi kitimat,
Of course, this should not be happening.
It would help if you told us about your version of Atlantis (“Help | About…”), your Windows system.
Could you please send your current Atlantis settings (“Atlantis.ini”) to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com?
“Tools | Options… > Save to File… > Atlantis.ini”
TIA
Cheers,
Robert

Thanks for the INI file.
I cannot reproduce the problem under your settings.
Please try running a copy of Atlantis under the "factory settings". Choose the "Tools | Factory Settings..." menu command of Atlantis, and click the "Launch a test copy of Atlantis with factory settings" button. Still the same problem in that test copy of Atlantis?

1) Is "Exception Access Violation of 00407BAB in Atlantis.exe" relevant here?
2) I notice that I have some file saving issues as the back up files stored locally do not match the main files stored on dropbox. I'm accessing dropbox through the free wifi at my local library.
3) Anybody know of a good file compare & merge utility program for rtf files? By file merge I do not mean file concatenation. I am hoping to make 1 good file out of 2 bad ones.
thanks
