e-book cover page problem

Post by Ed Steele »

I have generated 3 different e-books with Atlantis that each have the same cover page, consisting of a picture plus title. All three books can be loaded into the e-book reader “Calibre” (PC using Vista operating system) and all three can then be converted and loaded into my Kindle Fire. They all read correctly EXCEPT – books 2 and 3 have the “wrong” cover page. In each case the cover page automatically selected is a photo / embedded .jpg file from somewhere in the middle of the respective book. All three books have lots of pictures. Book 1 is OK

Any ideas anyone?

Could you please email the source document of any of your "faulty" ebooks to support@AtlantisWordProcessor.com?

Thanks for the document file.

Atlantis automatically picks up the first portrait-oriented image in your document as a cover image. The problem is that the first image in your document is not portrait-oriented. Its width is greater than its height.

Please just make the first image in your document portrait-oriented.
