Footnote problem
The current document suddenly has tiny boxes around the footnote numbers. How do I remove them?
Nothing to worry about!
The tiny boxes appear around automatic footnote reference marks when you toggle the “Special Symbols” mode on with “View | Special Symbols”, or the corresponding toolbar button. Please, have a look at this help page:
