Is there a way to get Atlantis to select-all-the-text-that-I-just-pasted-into- Atlantis ?
thanks
John
select pasted text
Hi John,
I don’t know of any direct way to do this, but there is a workaround:
1. Select the original text. Note that this selection can be done in another application, or in Atlantis in a different document from the target document, or in the same document as the target document.
2. Leave the selection AS IS.
3. Use the left mouse button to capture the selection and hold the mouse button down, then drag the selection into the destination document all the way to the target location.
If your original selection is located outside Atlantis, you might need to activate the target application, i.e. Atlantis, by hovering the mouse pointer over the Atlantis thumbnail image in the Windows Taskbar as an intermediate step.
4. When the mouse pointer is poised over your target location, release the mouse button. Atlantis will insert the dragged selection as a new selection in the target document.
5. You can do whatever you want with that newly-pasted selection.
HTH.
Cheers,
Robert
