I suggest the ability to define and use variable fields within text documents. Implementation like LibreOffice would be useful: Have a field (e.g., Name) defined with a value (John Jones); double click on one instance of John Jones, change the value, and the new value appears wherever the Name field has been inserted.
This is not yet supported in Atlantis, but there are workarounds.
For example, you could add an AutoCorrect replacement pair:
John Jones > Richard Dawkins
And run “Tools | Autocorrect…” > “Accept All” button.
Or you could simply do a Find/Replace using the “Replace All” button.
