Atlantis fails to run

Been using Atlantis 1665 for some time. Suddenly when I try to start it, I get a message "Atlantis has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop, Please close "
I had tried uninstalling it and reinstalling a new downloaded copy of 1665, but it still will no run.
I had an image of the HDD, made a month or so ago, reloaded that and even that gives the same problem. But at the time of making the image everything was working ok. Nothing has been added or taken away. Can anyone advise as to how I can get it running again.

Please try running Atlantis with the factory settings.

Have you tried running the following command-line:

I've taken the easy way out. Installed the new version 2 Beta

That works fine for now. At least it works as it should.
