I'd really like to switch to Atlantis--it's the only MS Word alternative I've seen that handles footnotes well.
One problem: The font format dialog needs to allow the user to set a "Western Language Font" and an "Asian Language Font" separately. Otherwise anything in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean comes out looking terrible. (I don't know about other Asian languages, but they probably have a similar problem).
Every other desktop alternative to MS Office has this feature, so it can't be difficult. I promise to make the switch if this is added!
