Really like the Word Count feature. It's useful as I write fiction; I can tell how long the book is (and will be, based on how far I am 'into' the story).
But wondering if there is a way to get the count of words typed each day. I know there is a way to specify the 'target' or number of words I want to create in one day.
But a running count of something like 'words in the last 24 hours' would be useful.
Is this possible?

But in my opinion, adding a new status bar panel for the daily word count would be an overkill. I think that the writing target is a not bad substitute.

I am a less-than-focused (target-based?) writer. I write when I can, and often there isn't really a 'target' that I am aim for on a daily basis.
Sometimes, I have several hours to write. Other days, not so much. (And motivation is a factor also -- sometimes I am just not in the 'writing' mood...)
But when I do write, I like to see how I did for that day. So the 'daily word count' is useful for my type/habit of writing.
I'll keep plugging along, though. Thanks for a great product!
