Programmer Chat

Post by keyosuke »

In my last post I asked about job openings, and, regardless of the lack of job openings, I've always wanted to make a powerful word processor or some similar program. I'm amazed at how small Atlantis is, for what it is. That's why I'm curious about what technology it is coded in. I'm not asking for anything detailed like an atlantis code snippet, but if there's any neat you could tell me about, like the struggles along the way or what caused significant trouble and why, or just what language is used and why you picked it, I would be gratefully entertained.

Greetings--
There are 3 main ingredients:
- Good common sense (others call it ergonomy).
- Smart algorithms (the main ingredient).
- Maybe a bit of personal talent.
And (I almost forgot), a lot of dedicated hard work...
Cheers
