long wait
this is the only lacking feature that make me use Word. It is about time that this be fixed or added to AWP. It is important to be able to capture HTML from a browser and paste it into AWP. Please elevate this request.

eBook from multiple files
It would be nice if I could make a single ePub book from multiple source files. It would be ok if they all needed to have the same template (CSS data). The idea is just to mange a book using independent files for each chapter.

Sorry for my explanation. It was a little more complicated than I thought. The problem seems to be related to having line numbers on the bottom of the page. Take the included example and go to the bottom of the first page. look at the end of the sentence and then place the cursor on the first word ...

paragraph spacing at bottom of page.
The program forces the last line of a paragraph onto the next line under some conditions. This, I believe, is a bug. Here is how to reproduce it. 1. Turn off widows/orphans 2. set a paragraph settings with approximately one line after the paragraph, say 12 pts. This is a normal way to use the word ...
customize
The old tool bars takes up 2 rows above the text area. The new tool bars takes up 3 rows above the text area. To me this seems ok. I like the collective columns idea with groupings. However, the toolbars of today are customizable as to what you display. I suspect the new ones will be also. If you ...

Paste and convert some HTML codes
Most of the new Browsers do not support RTF any longer (I think only Microsoft is left). It is important to be able to paste from browsers into AWP without losing some essential tags. I would like to see support for HTML tags. I would suggest that at least the following tags be supported. p, br, i ...

While you can't make a column of numbers you can easily find the line number of every line. Change the view to draft mode and the line number will be shown at the bottom of the screen for wherever the cursor is. Thus you can easily find the line number of any line in the document. Note that space ...

One work around would be to save the table as a txt file. You will find that the results are that each table entry is on a line by itself and the rows are separated with an empty line. A RE could be used to make a CSV. I use Notepad++ and something like (.+)\r\n replaced with \1, should do the job ...

Thank you for the explanation. But the superscript was only a few characters in some of the cells and not the whole paragraph in any of them. Why would it single out this and assign it to the new paragraph as a paragraph attribute? Seems like a bug still but at least I can now fix it. Thanks again ...

Here is the example. I started with one full table. Near the bottom of page one I found that the rows was split over two pages so I decided to split the row off from the table. I went to the left and selected split table. The table split fine with a cursor blinking just below the first table. That ...

Table spit with lines between tables are strange.
I built a table that spans multiple pages (it is landscape if this matters) The table entries sometimes span the page break so I decided to break the table into two pieces. This leaves a line or so at the bottom of the page. When I type on this line it claims to be 12 point font just like the ...
With the new release Atlantis has become a key tool for generating epub files - thanks a lot for the great new features ! I know this has been an issue for a long time already, however a table feature that also converts to html for epubs would be the last missing piece. Then Atlantis would be the ...

Neither mobi or ePub supports tabs. If you used tabs to indent a paragraph or provide visual margins you need to go into styles and set proper values there. They will be converted to CSS in the ePub document. What were you using the tabs for? If to build a table then use the new beta table edition ...

headers
I am happy to report that I just imported a word file with a header that used a one row table with a picture in one cell and text in another and a third empty. It worked perfectly.
One question: Are column and row titles coming? In particular column titles that would repeat on the next page.

Re: Float images
Other word processors can float text around images. This would be a nice addition -- it makes the printed output look more professional -- and it saves paper. I don't know if floating content is allowed for e-books, but it certainly is part of HTML5. It is part of eBooks. In particular ePub permits ...

RTF is actually stored in an ASCII file and typically images are expanded to base64 text although there is a binary option as well for images so it is rather large compared to a full binary file although zipping it helps for storage purposes. As to what Atlantis does not support it is mostly related ...
