You can apply various font formatting characteristics to your document text.

Before applying a new font format to a text fragment, you should first select that fragment in the document. Then you can change individual font formatting characteristics of the selected text by clicking the corresponding toolbar buttons, pressing the associated hot keys, or through the main menu of Atlantis.

Tips:

• When the document contains no selection, and the Format without selection option is checked in on the "Edit" tab of the Tools | Options... dialog, the font formatting commands will be applied to the word containing the cursor.
  When this option is off, no immediate formatting is performed but the new formatting would be applied to any new text you will type.
• You can use the Format Brush to apply font formatting.
